Treatment of sweat glands, salivary glands and muscles with Botox
In addition to the widespread treatment options with Botox (aesthetics, migraine, CMD), there are other areas of application with very good therapeutic success.
These are the following treatments:
-
Hypertrophy of the sweat glands with excessive sweat production
-
Hypertrophy of the salivary glands with excessive saliva production
-
Hypertrophy of the masticatory muscles
-
Blepharospasm (eyelid spasm) etc.

The treatment is suitable for patients for whom conventional therapy methods, medication or exercises (e.g. massage) have had no or insufficient effect.
As the effect is usually not yet fully apparent after a single treatment, follow-up treatments are usually required at intervals of approx. 3-6 months if the treatment is successful.
